The North Pole

MistleTUB!  This Holiday season marks two years of TUB mixes!!  It has been an amazing musical journey and I appreciate from the bottom of my heart sharing it with yall and Coco.

Considering the recent events near a home town of mine it only felt right to share a moment of silence before signing off. These are some tragic times and the only way I know how to deal with tragic times that doesn’t involve oblivion is to do unto others as I’d have done unto me. Which means to be blessed with dope hip hop. After all, it was the singing in Whoville in spite of the stolen gifts that made the Grinches heart start to grow…

Many familiar faces on this mix but I would like to draw attention to Massachusetts natives Purpose & Confidence. Listening to their latest release makes me feel like I’m whipping around the Connecticut streets in a two door Pathfinder back in the back of the days. Pure gold. Stop snoozing. Macklemore is doing it BIG for the backpackers who also love Cadillacs. Kendrick brings one of my favorite hip hop songs ever (statement)…and… I can’t get enough of Buddy the Elf.

Thank You for joining.  Happy Holidays and a blessed New Year.
