In memory of apartment 4B, the only difference being the cuts from the axe as I searched the wax for life have been replaced with shine bright drops from Coco White. It’s not often I miss me some Bacardi Limon (never in fact) but working on this had me throwing my head back, remembering sniping the street outside tramps with Rawkus promos and shopping at Beat street and getting served on the courts at PS 20 by 11 year old kids (well I was at least) and farmer in the deli sandwiches and ending our nights at the Brooklyn Mod to name just a few and that just skims the surface without naming too many names, because at the end of the day it was the people and times that made that place special…and of course the music.
There is no Coco story at the end, but she makes herself frequently known. She’s hard at work on her own album a/k/a another current day mix is in progress in which she drops her knowledge…God Bless and Enjoy!!!!
