Boston is not noted as the HUB of Hip Hop style, but beyond the cranberry pants and nautical belts and Gap tees there are a few gems, one of which is Bodega, at 6 Clearway Street, right around the corner from Berklee College of Music. Yeah you can grab a water for a dollar out front but there is some magic to be discovered beyond the rolls of scottie tissues. If you’re in the city it’s worth a trip to discover the secret of the store alone, which I will not ruin. If you plan to shop be sure to get your dollars up cause you’re gonna covet more than one item. The store boasts a fresh selection of apparel from unique kicks like Alligator laced boat shoes, a healthy selection from Nike and Vans to the latest in designer street wear from the likes of Marshall Artist, Norse Projects, Nike SW and more.
