Aqua Jet 9000 Mix

This mix is special to me because we had Coco and her sisters from another mister Brooklyn and Journey in studio for it, so there is a variety of collaborated drops from the extended family. Special times bringing gracious gifts. Shout out to the Murphy’s!!

It’s been a touch and go summer for hip hop releases in my humble opinion. Some hits, some sorta tryna be hits and many misses…Still, as Flavor of The Month DJ Weisstro would say “we just hitting em upside the head with bangers.” Uknowwhatitis.

I can’t get enough of “Legendary Weapons”. That song makes my ear drums riot. Ghost is in bonafide black out mode, AZ is as smooth as ever and I can listen to M.O.P shout and threaten people all day over Wu beats. Watch The Throne’s feature (hard to choose) just feels so complete to me, with an eery feeling like Jay and Yeezy are chasing you down a wooded road in a Murcielago. Primo murdered the beat for Second Place.  Nas lyrically is in close to Illmatic form on Nasty. But my favorite verse here is Kendrick Lamar‘s (verse 2) on Hood Gone Love It.

And to top it all off Coco really outdid herself on her outro which cannot be missed. In fact you might want to fast forward to it then start all over again. Enough out of me. Thank you for your patronage and may God Bless!!!
